Charnwood, a single-storey lodge near Carnforth, consists of a kitchen with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and kettle, and a living/dining room with Smart TV, electric fire and dining table. The bedrooms comprise two doubles, one with an en-suite WC. The main bathroom includes a bath with shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with gravel, patio, lawn and decking, plus furniture. Off-road parking is available for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved dog welcome by prior arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Within 3.3 miles, you will find a shop, and within 2.2 miles, a pub, while the river is just 0.7 miles away. Town: Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunities to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale where you can walk or cycle along the Lancaster to Kendal Canal nearby.
