Stylish Lake Ōkāreka Retreat Views, Spa in Rotorua

La vue était incroyable, le jacuzzi était un vrai plus et l’appartement en lui même était très cosy. Les hôtes étaient très gentils et disponibles en cas de besoin

Le logement était vraiment fabuleux, le seul point négatif était que l’appartement fait parti de la maison donc on entend un peu les bruits à l’intérieur surtout le matin et le parking peut être un peu difficile pour certain car étroit mais honnêtement c’est minime par rapport à la qualité du logement !

Basically pictures as seen in the description. There were room heater but not in bathroom so there’s always cold air blowing into the room (had to keep door close) but you will feel the cold come at you when you open the door to it. Nice scenic view of sunrise. What is not so good about this place is at night there is no street lamp so the road is very dark, parking also especially if you’re driving a longer vehicle or not so confident, you will find it difficult to reverse out because of the slope. I had thought that breakfast is included (as my whole trip were using B&B except for this) but thankful for Michelle who corrected me so luckily we had our own snack bars with the coffee and tea provided in the room.

Bed was a little uncomfortable for us (felt that there is just only spring). At night you will hear quite a bit of squeaking sound and people talking outside at the bbq/spa area. Both me and my wife encountered a young Chinese couple who were also staying in the resort (another room) talking aloud at 10 plus nearing 11 in the evening (so inconsiderate). The bathrobe was spotted with stains (didnt use it).

What an amazing view! The hot tub is such a luxury and treat. My room is cosy and comfortable with a large bathroom. A lovely place to return to after a day of walking and tours.

It is not far from the centre of Rotorua, only a 15 mins drive but driving back after a late night Māori festival was quite a challenge as it was pitch black and the road winding.

The location and the view was 20 out of 10. It definitely was the best view we ever had in all our strays ever. The jacuzzi in the balcony was also the cherry on top! It was great.

The beds were travel beds, very uncomfortable and we woke up with back pain! The pillows were also worn out and stinky!! The BBQ was very greasy and gross! Unusable! There was no TV, microwave, or proper cutlery. We could also hear hosts walking on the room above, not much privacy.
