My family and I cannot speak highly enough of our stay at Fort Edge a week ago. From the time we arrived, Thushara, Roshan and Sunil went out of their way to make sure we felt at home, and that all our needs were met. From delicious meals at the restaurant (there is a great variety of both western and Sri-Lankan dishes to feast on), to very helpful suggestions about nearby places to visit and the best ways to get there, to consistently outstanding hospitality from all the staff, we went away from Fort Edge wishing that we could stay longer. With its natural beauty and tranquil surroundings, and an amazing pool/hammocks and other areas to relax in, this retreat is perfect for families, friend groups and couples. Thank you so much to Thushara, Roshan and Sunil for giving our family such a beautiful experience.

Loved it here, great location, lovely friendly staff, the local tuk tuk driver looked after us and took us into Galle town and elsewhere, great food, lovely spot to eat by the pool, all lit up at night. Even a power cut didn't spoil things, owner lighted candles and we watched the fireflies.

This was by far the best stay during our holiday. Beautiful location (quiet and peaceful) with lovely views. Very spacious and well appointed bedroom and bathroom. Excellent food served here by attentive staff. The current manager and assistant manageress were extremely helpful, over and above what one would expect. Swimming pool was great too.
