    We had the absolute pleasure of spending two wonderful days at Milkyway Holiday Resort, and from the moment we arrived, it exceeded all of our expectations. The property itself was a paradise oasis. What truly made our stay unforgettable, was the incredible hospitality of the host. From the very beginning, he warmly introduced himself and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His kindness and generosity was unmatched—he even provided us with complimentary waters and personally drove us wherever we needed to go without hesitation. One of the most thoughtful gestures was when he arranged and gave us a free ride to the bus station and helped us figure out the best way to get to Colombo. That level of care and attention is something you don’t come across often, and we truly appreciate everything he did for us. Throughout our stay, he was always available and incredibly responsive, checking in to make sure we were comfortable and assisting us immediately with anything we asked. It genuinely felt like we were being looked after by a friend rather than just a host. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and very well-equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable—perfect for a restful night’s sleep after long days exploring. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver in the heat, and having reliable hot water for showers after time at the beach was such a welcome comfort. The location is another big plus. It’s conveniently situated in close walking diatance to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever you like. There are also plenty of local restaurants nearby, all within walking distance or just a quick tuk-tuk ride away, so finding great food was never an issue. Overall, our experience at Milkway Holiday Resort was nothing short of amazing. The combination of a lovely setting, comfortable accommodations, and truly exceptional hospitality made this stay very special to us. The kindness and care shown to us will not be forgotten from the host. We would give this place a well-deserved five-star review and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.     We stayed here for 4 nights, the location is only a 5 min drive from the main beach area with lots of restaurants! The staff here were so friendly and attentive, I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for a good quality and affordable accommodation
