L'Albatros

This is a huge, lovely, old apartment on the street next to the beach with windows facing the English Channel. It is quiet and restful (except for the clamor of seagulls outside) and comfortable even for a very large family. A fortress built at the end of the Hundred Years War (and now a city museum) is only a few minutes uphill, and the marina of Dieppe is also a few minutes in the other direction. Swimming in the Channel was surprisingly pleasant, and in general we enjoyed Dieppe a lot. The hostess was gracious and helpful. Everything works (except maybe the filter-coffee machine could use a replacement or decalcification).
