Tv in master bedroom wasn’t watchable

A very nice property and the pool area was lovely. The pool is not heated and the weather was cold - unseasonably cold. So that we could not use it but a couple days the sun was warm enough to sit out there and enjoy the out doors. It is a short walk to a strip mall where there is a bakery, a good restuarant (no night service) and a liquor store. Groceries are across the street from the mall. So convenient for those things.

This was a beautiful facility, clean and well equipped, and I would be inclined to rent again if it was properly prepared.

It was, however, not completely ready for a first-class rental. The ceiling fans were inoperable (no working remotes), some of the outdoor lighting did not work, nor did the pool light which was a safety hazard. My son lost close to a full day of work (and money) because there was no internet access. The resolution required outside underground cable repair by the utility. This was inexcusable and clearly not an oversight. What was also wanting was a guidebook about the house - how to adjust the thermostat, when to put out the garbage, the general workings of fans, etc., and information about the area would also have been helpful. We were also not pleased at being awakened early one morning by the blaring of leaf blowers as the gardening crew made what was for us, an unscheduled appearance. The next day, it was the pool maintenance people, who shocked the pool without telling us (until my daughter ran out to catch them) that we had to stay out of the pool for at least an hour. When you pay $2000, you expect privacy and security. You don't expect people coming and going willy nilly. Finally, the host was difficult to reach and was not as attentive to our schedule as we would have liked, but I thank her for retrieving the item I left behind. The owner was very difficult to reach - I have tried to contact him a number of times, and he does not return my calls. Considering the hardships and inconveniences we were forced to endure. I feel a refund ($200-$300) would be in order and only fair and would be an acknowledgement that all was not as it should have been.
