Very reasonable price. Good location for the station and centre of town. Friendly staff. Free parking. Bathroom clean. Fan provided in the room which was essential as it was on an upper floor during the heatwave. Despite being a pub, the room was not noisy at all.
As it is a busy pub, there was a bit of a wait to be shown to my room when I arrived.

Its location was excellent. Close to the station and very short walk to town centre. Easy access to property when pub closed . Friendly staff. Room spacious.
The only thing was there was no toilet roll! Ended up buying some as although asked at the bar it never got brought to the room. Other than that it was good value and good large room.

Staff was really nice, convenient location, though slight trade off being you do get train noise. This will be worse currently due to needing windows open with the current hot weather. Room did seem clean and towels etc.
TV didn't have a remote or a way to use. Toilet really needs replacement as very stained etc. Despite this, it was fine for a brief stay over.
