Friendly staff and lovely room. Had a clean en suite bathroom and good facilities - tea, coffee, kettle and tele. Definitely didn’t have the same experience as other guests in previous reviews
It is close to the train station so might be worth taking ear plugs if you want to lie in

Very reasonable price. Good location for the station and centre of town. Friendly staff. Free parking. Bathroom clean. Fan provided in the room which was essential as it was on an upper floor during the heatwave. Despite being a pub, the room was not noisy at all.
As it is a busy pub, there was a bit of a wait to be shown to my room when I arrived.

Staff was really nice, convenient location, though slight trade off being you do get train noise. This will be worse currently due to needing windows open with the current hot weather. Room did seem clean and towels etc.
TV didn't have a remote or a way to use. Toilet really needs replacement as very stained etc. Despite this, it was fine for a brief stay over.
