Sky Star Ocean View Uluwatu

Beautiful view, great amenities. 10/10 experience.

After reading the review by 'Princess' Nathalie from the UAE, we almost hesitant to book Sky Star Ocean Villa. Her review painted such a dramatic picture that we nearly looked elsewhere. Thankfully, our gut told us to ignore it, and we are so glad we did. What an incredible experience we had at Sky Star Ocean View. The villa was exactly as the photos show...modern, contemporary, stylish and incredibly private. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating a luxurious yet relaxing space. The staff checked in with us daily to ask if we needed fresh towels, and every other day they messaged to see if we'd like the villa cleaned and our bed linen changed. Nothing was ever too much! A special shout-out to Joni and Intan on reception, who couldn't have done more for us. They were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming, and even remembered our names, which was such a lovely personal touch. The security team were also exceptional and made us feel safe at all times. A huge thank you to Sujesna and Van Tu De, who helped make our stay so memorable. Honestly, every member of staff here deserves a pay rise! One particular complaint from 'Princess Nathalie' that amused me was the 'hole in the ceiling'. What she described as an issue was actually a beautiful architectural skylight that added to the villa’s modern design. We loved waking up naturally with the morning light. In fact, some luxury wellness retreats charge thousands to help guests reconnect with their natural sleep cycle and circadian rhythm. Sky Star was simply offering that experience as part of the villa design! We are incredibly grateful we didn’t let one dramatic review put us off. After experiencing Sky Star Ocean View ourselves, we can only assume Nathalie was expecting a private island, a royal entourage, and someone to apologise personally to the sun for rising too early... Thank you to the entire team — you made our Uluwatu holiday truly special!
