Het verblijf op Madeira in de nieuwe Eco Faja Villas was fantastisch. De woning was zeer proper, net, ruim, modern en goed uitgerust. Bovendien waren er mooie badkamers en was er een fenomenaal 180° zicht op de Atlantische Oceaan bij de infinity pool. In de directe omgeving is een grote supermarkt en heel leuke restaurantjes in de haven van Calheta. De woning is met de auto een mooie uitvalsbasis om het hele eiland in al zijn natuurpracht te verkennen van de Ponta de São Lourenço tot Porto Moniz en alles daartussen. In de baai hebben we vele dolfijnen en walvissen kunnen spotten. Leuke host die ons zelfs bio groenten uit eigen tuin heeft geschonken om klaar te maken. Het steile weggetje ernaartoe namen we er graag bij.
