The view was breathtaking, the location was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. However, there were many downsides.

I don’t quite understand where the positive reviews come from. The hotel is clearly very outdated and does not match the photos shown on Booking. The walls were damaged, the doors and windows were difficult to open and close, and there were cigarette burns in the furniture. It was not properly cleaned—there was a lot of dust in places that are not immediately visible. On top of that, the reception staff don’t even greet you when you walk in—you’re completely ignored. Worst of all was the constant smell of cigarettes. Smoking is allowed in this hotel, and if you are sensitive to it, it can keep you awake at night. Additionally, there is a nightclub next to the hotel that slides escort flyers under the room doors in the evening. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.
