Qiuguo Hotel Chongqing Guanyin Bridge Branch

Really good value for money. I would especially like to thank the hotel staff for their help in any situation. If you don't know Chinese and need to book tickets for some event, if you get sick and need help with medicine delivery, etc., the staff will always help you, at any time of day or night.

Smoking is allowed in many places in China. Perhaps we were unlucky with the room, but when you check into a room and smell cigarettes even though the sign says "no smoking," you wonder why the staff didn't take care of this problem in advance.

The hotel is very modern, centrally located for exploring or business in Chongqing, close to public transport and airport. The ladies at the reception were super polite and helpful, despite their minimal spoken English and mine none Chinese, we’ve communicated well via translator. The room was immaculate and spacious with comfortable bed, crisp linen and all control switches from the bedside. Buffet breakfast was a bonus

I was slightly confused when I arrived at the hotel, as the name of the hotel quoted on booking.com didn’t match the hotel’s sign, but both the taxi driver and receptionist reassured me
