Gibraltar Luxe Stay

The location worked well for us. A 10 min easy walk from the airport near the marina. The pools were a good bonus, shame about the restricted hours, but that is down to the building. The apartment had lots to offer with hairdryers, iron, washing machine etc. The apartment was clean and smelled amazing.

The sofa is the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on! The bed is silly, there is minimal gap either side to move around. The curtains don’t keep the light out at all. The listing is a little generous in what it states it offers, separate bedroom for example. The photos of the apartment also aren’t completely accurate. The first one shows a different apartment with a bigger balcony. There was a light stand that couldn’t plug in as it had the wrong plug so I don’t understand why it was there. We only had one towel, which is an easy oversight. The agent dropped two off later in the day after I asked him but they had an underwear lining stuck on them.

Lovely and clean. Bottle of water I. The fridge with milk and some little croissants was a very welcome thought .

Sofa was very uncomfortable! Burberry compared to everything else in the apartment. And the fact we couldn’t use the washing machine, as it had to be plugged in outside in the hallway, which wasn’t even near the actual apartment !

The studio is super modern. And it has a very nice touch!

The advert is not well explained. Even if it says parking available and there are pools in the building, nothing is included in the price. So I would recommend putting those prices in the advert for no surprises. And then, I paid the parking but I had to share the parking space with a bike which was not ours. The sofa was not comfortable at all!! I recommend changing the sofa as well. The indications to go and leave are a little bit awkward. I normally go directly to the accommodation and this was not the case. Making it a little bit tedious as I missed the parking airport.

they wanted another £15 PER PERSON to use the pool and other rooftop faclities! The reason we chose this place was because of the great rooftop - at no point in the advert did it mention more money to use them!
