3BR, 2BA house steps from historic Jonesborough

The house is actually quite nice. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 small bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Everything is clean.

From the outside, you wouldn’t know the house is for rent. It’s completely unremarkable. The lawn hadn’t been mowed, which wasn’t very inviting. Overall, we had trouble finding the house based on the directions provided. It’s quite inconvenient that the driveway to the house is so narrow that you have to back out onto the main road, which has quite a bit of traffic! That needs to be addressed. It was also a bit complicated to get into the house because we weren’t given the door code in advance. The hosts usually don’t understand that for guests from overseas, communicating by phone is incredibly expensive....

Location was great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen supplies were well stocked.

The kitchen stove and refrigerator were way too small for a 3-bedroom house and totally inadequate for an extended stay if you want to cook and host.

This house, recently painted inside, is aesthetically nice inside, but needs attention to the working aspects of the structure. Numerous doors were difficult or impossible to close, including the front door. There was a wasp nest and spider nest on the inside of the front screen door (with broken screen). Some "unusual" artwork visible in the bedrooms or upstairs lobby area. Linoleum in upstairs bathroom needs replacing. Water in the upstairs shower never reached the temperature of that of the corresponding bathroom sink. The backyard area with cheap chairs was quaint looking, but overall useless. (No table?) The wifi and AC worked well. The kitchen appliances were all newer and in great shape. Kitchen and laundry areas were well-stocked. In general, a fair experience for the asking price in this area
