The Nest at Castleton

Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss einer wunderschön angelegten Gated Community (inkl. Perlhühner auf dem Gelände) - wir fühlten uns zu jeder Zeit absolut sicher dort. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Wes klappte hervorragend. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht (außer eine Spülmaschine, aber das hat uns nicht gestört). Auch viele Wolldecken und eine kleine Elektroheizung im Wohnzimmer sind vorhanden - diese hat uns wirklich geholfen, denn die Abende im afrikanischen Winter sind recht kühl und die Fenster in Südafrika i.d.R. einfach verglast. Übrigens, es gibt sogar eine Holzeisenbahn - unser 13-jähriger Sohn meinte, die hätte ihm als kleiner Junge gefallen. Unsere 16-jährige Tochter hat begeistert Disney+ gefunden ... Leider konnten wir den tollen Pool nicht nutzen - zu kalt draußen. Billard und Tischtennis sind aber Klasse! In Plett kann man super Essen, im Robberg Nature Reserve waren wir in 15 min, nach 20 min an der Knysna Zipline und nach 45 min im Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve. Eine super Lage hat die Wohnung also auch noch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein paar mehr Teller/Geschirr und Handtuchhaken wären super (die fehlen aber in allen Unterkünften irgendwie) - sonst alles Klasse!

The host (though we never met) was simoly superb and was extremely considerate taking our needs into consideration as a muslim family with halal requirements. Super responsive amd always very kind and gentle despite us troubling them. Beautiful house and loads of space. Set in a nice sexure compound.

Upstairs could do with some heaters in cold winter.

We had such a wonderful stay! Check-in was quick and easy, and from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very stylish. You can really see the care and attention to detail that has gone into making the place special. It was the perfect getaway for our family, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We would happily come back again in the future and would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Some of the activities on the premises my need some attention, the pool was in good condition.

Nous avons adoré cet appartement si joliment décoré, spacieux, moderne, propre, et très bien équipé, La résidence est sécurisée et agréable avec piscine, grand jardin, espace jeux pour les enfants. Nous avons regretté de ne pas être restés plus longtemps tellement nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Merci pour votre accueil, nous reviendrons sans hésitation !
