Luxury Villa Pembe Palheiro Village by Holiday Rental Madeira

The house is very spacious, spread out over three levels. The kitchen is new. Checking in and out was very easy with the lock box. Good washer and dryer. Fantastic view over the ocean and Funchal. The house was clean and well maintained. Relatively new. Good wifi and good parking. Pool at the house was clean and well maintained but cold in July. The community pool was also nice to use, as well as the table tennis and pool table. It is in a gated community and the house felt very safe. We stayed in the house with 5 people.

The dishwasher was not functioning like it should, needed repair. The mattress of the Master bedroom is very uncomfortable. The house lacks atmosphere, not a single painting on the walls. None of the three bedrooms have a single hook/rack to dry your towels. The house has no AC and becomes damp quickly if you close all the windows. There is an elevator in the house but it does not work. On the photos they show an outdoor dining table but it is not longer there. Just a lounge set instead. The house is not suitable for small children or people who have a hard time climbing stairs. The fitness and spa is part of the other hotel and needs a drive and you will be charged in order to use it. I would rate it a 7 or 8 max for what you pay.

Check in war sehr professionell und effizient, das Haus ist sehr neu und gross, tolle Lage mit atemberaubenden Meerblick. Den Pool haben wir nicht benützt, da es zu frisch war.
