Centrally located. Easy to walk to downtown. Parking was straight forward and the keyless entry to the apartment made for easy access. Washer and dryer worked well during my visit and there was a supply of detergent and softener. Nice fridge and stove. Baseboard heating allowed for good temperature control.

The windows don’t seal well and consequently there is a fair amount of road noise and people smoke outside of them thus the smell comes in. The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and I found it plugged with years of buildup. Cleaned and lubricated it and it started working. I bought some utensils for others to use after I left because, to me, they are staples. (Scissors, spatula, whisk, stove top cleaner, etc). The cleaners need to be more thorough as I’d spent 4+ hours cleaning and adjusting things to make the place better. I spent almost 3 weeks there. I found broken glass under the dining room table and the remnants of broken glass and spilled drink under the sofa. Because it’s a basement apartment, people above should respect the 11pm noise deadline. Management needs to be more responsive to the renters. Keep to their word. An inventory of the items in the apartment should be kept. Mixer was to be replaced, but never happened, should have been noted by the cleaners as well as a non functioning smoke alarm.
