The layout was good, bedrooms downstairs so didn’t have to lug cases upstairs.
All the rooms were a good size and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the lounge and back bedroom was spectacular, there was always something to watch going on in river or a steam train coming or going.
The upstairs bathroom needs attention, the damp/ musky smell was awful and no amount of scented diffusers will ever remedy the problem.
We ended up not using it because the smell was so bad.

Location is fantastic, ease of access, responsiveness of host. Facilities in house were good.
Small bathroom always smelt and evidence of mould and leaking due to slow drains. Washing machine leaks. Need a small bistro set for balcony rather than camping chairs.
