Maisonnette roof top - WIFI - Netflix

Although the maisonette was very small, all the amenities inside were functional and the property was clean. The shower was great and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment, although I decided not to because I didn't want the sleeping area to smell of food. The bed was large, although as a sofa bed, I found it harder to sleep on than a normal bed. The remote host gave clear information in a timely manner to ensure there were no issues checking in. They were very quick to send me an invoice after my stay. Instructions on how to check out were clear and easy to follow. I liked how the maisonette was situated behind a locked door, giving an extra layer of security. It was situated in a good location, close to the train station and about 10 minutes' walk from Gap town centre and Verdun bus stop (buses in town are free!) Because I stayed in winter, I didn't use the upstairs patio, but I can imagine this would be very pleasant during summer, especially with the stream running through the property grounds.

I visited in January, so cold nights were to be expected, however I did struggle to sleep some nights due to the low temperatures, even when using the small radiator situated by the front door. The maisonette is very small, but it was good for my purpose of visiting (work trip). I probably wouldn't stay here with my partner for leisure, due to the size.
