There was a pool. Unfortunately it was very dirty upon arrival and the filter was not on. I had to contact the renter to ask if it had been properly maintained and if it was safe for my children to swim. That’s something that should be addressed before guests arrive.

First of all the listing is extremely deceptive, it boosts you have an entire three bedroom two bathroom house with a pool, private and completely to yourself. That 100 percent is not the case. The garage of the house has been turned into a separate studio apartment that is rented out to other people while you are staying in the house. This is not at all disclosed anywhere on the listing, was not disclosed ever after booking, and we were completely blindsided by this. I would never in a million years book a house for $765 for 3 days that is not private. The fact that it was withheld is deceitful and unacceptable. I’m not even sure it’s legal to do so. When I asked the owner about the garage apartment and if anyone else would be on property, I was given the run around until I told him point blank I needed a direct answer. I was extremely uncomfortable knowing other strangers were sharing space in extreme proximity to my family which included 3 young children. Even if they didn’t have access to the main house they were right there! Basically a bedroom boarded off! In addition to this completely awful situation, there was minimal usable kitchen cookware. The listing made it seem you would have everything you needed. There were absolutely no cooking sheets, sheet pans, baking trays whatever. No large pots only two very small ones. There were only 7 glasses, no plastic ware for children. There were coffee mugs and a hunch of little teacups and saucers. No pizza cutter, I’ve stayed at dozens of condos and house rentals and every single one had a cooking sheet and pizza cutter. That’s pretty standard. I had to do a target delivery to be able to prepare the food we brought. There were two light bulbs out in the kitchen track lighting making it very dark in the kitchen. There was a broken chair at the dining table. That was unusable. The kitchen cabinets to right of stove do not open properly and you cannot remove or put away a dish without the cabinet closing on you.
