Star Résidence

We stayed in the triplex (top floor) apartment which I believe is Star 2. It is clean, modern and simplistically appealing. There is plenty of useable space and you can tell it’s a well looked after property. The underfloor heating system is fabulous, easy to use and the property was always toasty warm. The host and housekeeper were both very welcoming and professional and sorted out a cot, mattress and highchair for our baby when we requested which we massively appreciated. The balcony is a stunning space with gorgeous Mountain views and the children enjoyed the attic room. The garage is very useful for leaving skis and boots and there’s plenty of space with a bench for removing ski boots (although shared with the below property we had sole use for the week). Ski in ski out is possible (with a very short walk) if there’s enough snow and capability dependant!

The main and only issue for us is that there was no washing machine. A property like this could really do with one but luckily we had family staying nearby so made use of theirs. The attic room does not have its own door so children going to bed earlier than adults makes using the living room tricky unless you’re happy to be quiet. The two en suites are simple and modern bathrooms but not having a ‘family’ bathroom is slightly tricky logistically with 3 young children.

Budynek składa się z dwu oddzielnych apartamentów. Lokalizacja jest dobrze skomunikowana z centrum Stacji narciarskiej Isola2000, przystanek lokalnego busika jest około 50m od domu, a kolejka linowa terenowa do centrum handlowego około 200 m około 200 m jest stok narciarski od którego można rozpocząć codzienną jazdę na nartach i powrót z nart.

Narty można przechowywać w garażu , ale nie ma tam stojaków na narty i buty

Lors du choix du logement sur Booking, les photos sont mélangées mais mettent en avant l’appartement Star 2, dont les prestations sont largement supérieures au Star 1 (triplex vs duplex, grande terrasse avec vue vs terrasse sur le parking, taille de la pièce à vivre, etc etc). Pas de précision sur l’appartement sélectionné lors de la réservation Booking, tout ceci étant très trompeur. À l’arrivée, nous avons pris les clés comme indiqué et nous sommes installés dans le Star 2, mais on nous a fait déménager du Star 2 au Star 1 en fin de journée à cause d’une erreur d’attribution, impossible à détecter vu l’absence de précision sur Booking et la mise en avant de l’appartement Star 2… nous avons donc été rétrogradés après installation et extrêmement déçus. Dans ce cadre il nous a été promis un geste commercial, puis un geste personnel, nous n’avons finalement eu aucun des deux. Par ailleurs, pas de lave-linge dans un appartement de 3 chambres pour 6 !, pas de recommandation pour en trouver autour de la location. Pas de verrou sur une salle de bain et un wc. Pas de prise accessible à côté d’un des lits deux places malgré une lampe de chevet présente, non branchable. Une des chambres d’enfants est quasi aveugle et collée à la pièce à vivre. De plus l’appartement est présenté comme en centre station, mais les aller-retours aux commerces et activités ne peuvent se faire qu’en voiture (15 min de marche et grosse montée au retour). Bref dommage mais grosse déception vus les prix.
