Thilo Guest House Auroville

Hostel buliding was neat nd clean, room were cosy , good beds...the atmosphere was good..

Thilos is a very friendly Guest House and the perfect place to land when you arrive in Auroville. The staff are genuinely kind and always ready to help, making you feel at home from the very first moment. There is homemade vegan food served every day and a beautiful sense of community throughout the space. There is also a big clean swimming pool and a rooftop where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. In addition, there are common areas where you can practice yoga or take part in events and activities. The location is great if you have a scooter, bike, or car, as it connects easily to a main road. Great value for the price.

During our stay, the place was short on cleaning staff.

Words cannot describe how much I loved staying at Thilo guesthouse. I booked the female dorm for 3 nights but ended up extending 10 more days! :) The room is big, clean and bright. There's a washing machine that I found very convenient and the possibility to eat there at a little extra cost (the food is healthy, tasty and very well prepared). There's also a nice swimming pool to enjoy during the day and a beautiful rooftop to chill, watch the sunset or join yoga classes. What truly makes Thilo special, though, is Vijay and the staff, they are super nice and helpful with every things you might need. They really take care of you, I felt like being a part of a family. I really recommend Thilo Guesthouse if you want to feel really welcome, to connect with yourself, meet beautiful people and enjoy the spirit of Auroville.
