    We loved our stay at Lahe by loka, the room was super comfy, breakfast was awesome and the staff super kind and attentive (except of the guy from reception, bit rude)

    Spacious and Authentic room.Clean swimming pool. Breakfast was very delicious. Little far from City. Value for money.

    This is a glorified version of homestay with swimming pool but definitely does categorise as a luxury stay, amenities were not up to the mark. Staff should be proactive in doing things rather than reactive. I found water RO filter very dirty and they’re providing that water only upon check-in. When requested for packaged drinking water bottles they told they do not have it even though we insisted we will pay, so we had to procure it from Auroville shops. They gave expired milk powder packets, room did not have cupboard and also bathroom seriously needs an upgrade, overall only positive was the location and calmness at the property. Also Restaurant gets closed by 4 pm so no in-house dinner have to rely on outside shops at night time. During the breakfast they had only limited items like idly, Dosa & bread omelette that is okay but staff behaviour while serving food seriously needs to change because we felt as if they were working, cooking & serving forcefully. When requested for fruits they told they’ve only watermelon which they did not even serve may be they forgot but we were the only one eating at that time not like there was a rush ?? thankfully next day when a another staff came he was able to provide watermelon juice. I believe all these needs to be reviewed from Management. Also forgot to mention there were no room or bathroom cleaning done post our checkin on the next day. I can understand and manage all these for a lower price segment stay but come on you’re portraying as a luxury stay with premium prices and lacking basic amenities and cleanliness.
