Villa Athenea

It was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The a/c worked well and there was loads of storage space. The pool area was very nice with lots of seating and sun loungers. Having the dishwasher was nice and the fridge was very cold.

There were difficulties locking the doors in the bedrooms and the gate to the garage. The pool and hot tub needed cleaning. The inside of the house was lovely and clean though. The pool was ‘gurgling’ a lot which was very loud at night.

Everything about our stay was perfect from the beginning to the end the property was clean spacious with all the facilities that you would require. Our hosts were very attentive. The outside space including the pool area was amazing couldn't ask for more. I would definitely return.

The inside of the villa was clean, and the beds were comfortable The owners let us have a late checkout, which was really kind.

The villa was very close to a busy road, so it was quite noisy. You could hear cars and coaches go by . If you are a light sleeper, then this is a problem. The showers need updating, and so does the kitchen. Only one plug in the whole kitchen, so you had to keep unplugging the kettle to work the toaster and microwave, etc. The table outside was really dirty and clearly had not been cleaned before our stay. The outside sofa and chairs were so uncomfortable. One night music was really loud until 3.30 am. I contacted the owner, and they said it is Carnival time. But I looked this up, and the carnival starts the next weekend for 2 weeks. They said it was a presentation? We didn't get to sleep until 3.30 am. They didn't even say that they were sorry we didn't get any rest. I would understand if it was Carnival time, but it wasn't. Alittle disappointed in the response!
