Spacious 3BR Stay Near Heathrow and Central London

We really loved the location of this property and the size of the accommodation. Having two bathrooms was also a big plus for our stay. Another major positive was how convenient the location was, with shops, a pharmacy and the town centre all easily accessible. Parking was also relatively easy to find, although it was paid parking.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues that made our stay disappointing. On arrival, the property was not as clean as we expected. The floors needed sweeping and cleaning before we could comfortably walk around barefoot, the cupboards where the utensils were stored were dirty, and some of the towels provided had stains on them. The balcony was also dirty and unfortunately wasn’t somewhere we felt comfortable using. There were also several maintenance issues. The oven was not usable, the kettle needed descaling, the buzzer was not working, and the shower in the lower-ground-floor bathroom was not working properly. The water pressure in the shower would also drop drastically whenever water was being used elsewhere in the property. Some of the cooking-pot lids were broken, several pieces of furniture appeared to be damaged or broken, and the freezer was not keeping food properly frozen, meaning the ice cream we bought in the hot weather melted. Another major issue was the internet. We were unable to access the Wi-Fi during our entire stay. I contacted the owner about this but unfortunately did not receive any concrete solution, so we had to rely on our own mobile hotspot throughout the stay. I had also specifically requested a baby cot when making the booking, and this request was approved. Unfortunately, there was no cot available when we arrived, which was particularly inconvenient when travelling with a young child.
