Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago West - Oak Park by IHG

Location, room size, and facilities, in the hotel, ease of access from O’Hare Airport, and the eateries which was located near by the hotel, hotel was also only been open for three months.

We reported an issue with our bathroom sink plug, which we reported to reception, however after the stay, this had not been resolved, plus our bedroom was not clean in the three days we were there, this was due to capacity.

Staff was friendly.

The bathroom toilet ran the whole stay. I reported it but it still ran the whole three days.

Skipped breakfast since so many nice restaurants in the area.

Counter to my difficulties trying to find the hotel and being unable to get a room, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. What I saw of the hotel appeared clean and neat.

The hotel was very difficult for me to locate, I circled the block and asked around. Several people said they didn't think there was a hotel. I never saw any signage for it. There is access from the street, but I never used or saw it. I had to enter via the parking garage next door, from the second or third floor. I only learned that after getting assistance from the desk attendant. There seem to be some growing pains perhaps. I was unable to stay there, they had rooms but could not use them because of being short-staffed and unable to clean them for the next visitors.
