Kigali Bliss Apartment

The staff were very nice and helpful. They upgraded me to the 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the third floor, instead of the standard room, so I don't know what those are like. I had requested a room on a lower floor due to a leg injury, but I think they forgot and upgraded me anyway; if you really need a lower floor I suggest you contact them again a few days before. I only had breakfast on the last day because it is only offered from 7am-8am, but it was very good. The kitchen had nice new appliances, but since it's new it was missing a few things (dish soap, utensils) which I know they are working on. If you have toddlers the kitchen is not safety proofed for them. Since you're next to the U.S. embassy the neighbourhood is safe and I was able to walk to the Niyo Art Gallery and cafe and the public library. At the gas station near the art gallery there is also a small grocery store with a bakery. In the hotel itself there is a small store where you can get basics.

There are two choices in the shower on the third floor, very hot water with barely any water pressure, or cold water with lots of pressure. I think they were working on this system while I was there, so it might be resolved. Also, if you ask them for the airport shuttle, I suggest contacting them a few days before to make sure. I contacted them the day of and didn't hear back, then when I arrived no one was there. Eventually through the airport wifi I was able to contact someone through WhatsApp and I did get the free ride which was appreciated.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had a great variety to choose from. The location is perfect—close to everything I needed and very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, an excellent experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
