My first trip to Rwanda included a week in Kigali with a close friend, and we discovered a beautiful bed and breakfast, YO ki GA li, that also serves as a yoga studio. The space is truly special — calm, welcoming, and filled with a positive communal energy. Set against rolling hills, the property offers stunning views, and the open-air yoga area doubles as a comfortable daytime workspace with reliable high-speed WiFi. The staff is attentive and kind, the food is fresh and organic with excellent vegan options, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed with private bathrooms and consistent hot water. Emma was a fantastic host. Very comfy beds, clean bathroom, delicious breakfasts and coffee, great yoga class and a beautiful shaded decking area out front with an amazing view, morning and evening – all in a peaceful and walkable area of Kigali.
