The space
This home is managed by owners Carren and Mathias. Welcome to your dream vacation home. This stunning 4-bedroom retreat, is named Blue Heron after Harry the heron who frequents the dock. The spacious open plan living is warm and has breathtaking views.
The kitchen is stocked with all modern appliances including an induction stovetop and all the amenities you will need to prepare delicious meals at home (olive oil, balsamic, salt and pepper, herbs). It features luxurious countertop, a large island with breakfast bar seating, a dining room with table for 8 and adjacent outdoor dining table.
On the second floor, you will find the first two bedrooms, the first of three primary King bedrooms with en-suite, a bunk bedroom which sleeps 3 and a convenient second living area with office desk and a pull out couch.
Upstairs, two more primary bedrooms with en-suite are waiting to welcome you with plenty of natural light and the most stunning views of the canal.
Outside in the private back yard enjoy the best of Florida while lounging by the swimming pool and spa. The generous covered pool deck offers outdoor dining for 8, a gas grill, firepit, Adirondack loungers and an outdoor living room.
Other things to note
Housekeeping will provide a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, and garbage bags but guests will likely need to replenish the supply during their stay.
Our cleaning fee includes a professional linen service. When you stay with us you can rest assured that you will have high quality linens such as those at a fine hotel. We also provide plenty of luxury bath and beach towels.

Location truly made this stay exceptional. The home is perfectly situated—central to everything, yet tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. The beach was just a short walk away and felt like a hidden gem—beautiful and uncrowded. Don’t be concerned about crossing Gulf Drive; there’s a pedestrian crossing at the end of the road where traffic stops immediately, making it easy and safe.The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for the beach, including a cart and very comfortable chairs. The outdoor living space was outstanding, featuring a fantastic pool and hot tub overlooking the channel. We were thrilled to spot several manatees during our stay! Evenings around the fire pit, roasting s’mores, were a highlight. Communication with the host was excellent—she was responsive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond. The elevator was also a huge plus, making it easy to transport our heavy luggage to the third floor. We highly recommend this home and host!

First off, this house is absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything is new and impeccably clean. The design and color choices are flawless. Beds are sooo comfy. Pool is beautiful, well heated and very comfortable even on chilly days. The kids loved fishing off the dock and watching manatees swim by. Kayak is outside ready for use with life vests in various sizes. The location is the best of both worlds - right on the canal off Sarasota Bay but a very short, easy walk to the beach. High chair, pack n play, and infant tub came in handy (tub was big enough to use with a toddler in the shower). We have stayed at many places in Anna Maria with our family of 6 and this one checks all the boxes. The only negative was the pool has some spots along the sides that are a little rough on little toes so you may want water shoes for little ones. Hoping that might get smoother with use of the pool because we will be back!!! Don’t hesitate this place is phenomenal!!

My family and I had the best time staying here. The house was spotless when we arrived. The pool, private dock, and fire pit made our stay. Beds were VERY comfortable and AC made it even more comfortable. 5 minute walk to beach. Mathias and Carren provided beach chairs, pool floats, fishing poles, towels, and a beach cart. The pool didn’t have a cage around it like in the pictures but we didn’t mind at all! It was almost better without so we can hang out with the kids while they swam. Sleeps 6 comfortably. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you have kids.

The property was perfectly located within a 5 minute walk to beach and close to everything you need without leaving the island! House was clean, fully stocked and really enjoyed the pool! Any issues (not major) were responded to quickly by owner!
