About this house rental
Make yourself at home at this beautiful Fairbanks retreat. Just outside of town, it's perfect for Aurora viewing, but still only a 15 minute drive to anything you might need or want. The entire lower level is yours, including 2 private rooms, as well as a large open concept living space complete with a kitchenette, pull out beds, and even an indoor hot tub!
This lovely home offers 2 king beds, 1 queen pullout couch, 1 full futon bed, 1 bunk bed, as well as 1 trundle bed. Perfect for big families or groups. There are 2 bathrooms equipped with all the amenities, including laundry, a cedar walk in shower, and an indoor hottub with artificial aurora for ambiance. You'll feel pampered! A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay!
Please note that an all-wheel-drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended in the winter, no matter where you stay. However, in my opinion during the winter a 4WD or AWD vehicle is a MUST if you are staying outside of the city center. This way you will never be stuck waiting for weather or for roads to be plowed to continue your Alaskan adventure!

Everything was as described in the listing. Unfortunately for us we couldn’t attest to the aurora sighting as the 4 days we stayed were during a 23 plus inch snowstorm. But we did get to enjoy the hot tub. The memory foam bed was very comfortable. Ashley was very responsive and offered suggestions of alternate activities we could check out. We explored a bit and played in the fresh snow. We would recommend this home and stay again.
