Dollhouse Downtown

The entire experience staying at the Dollhouse was fabulous. It was exactly what I had hoped for -- super comfortable and small, centralized location, easy parking, easy access to the apartment. The hosts were very thoughtful, everything from toe and handwarmers, sipping broth, extra blankets. The bathroom was very clean, I appreciated the hair dryer so I didn't have to pack one. The only things that could be nice additions to consider would be a towel warmer container at the entry way or in the closet - this is fabulous for warming up coats or hats and gloves before going out into the subzero weather. Since most people visiting are hoping to catch the aurora, it would be helpful to have more information with your welcome book such as suggested apps to download on devices, live webcams online in Fairbanks, etc. Hosts were lovely and always quick to respond.

I wish the views were clearer out the windows! The main window is big and beautiful, but there was so much light noise from the lights on the outside of the Dollhouse building I would never have been able to catch any of the northern lights. Also was a little disturbed that when I came down Tuesday morning, Door Dash had delivered someone's meal inside the coded entryway and left it there. This was bothersome, I didn't feel that the entry was as secure as it should be.

Location was great and onsite amenities were a lus.

The unit did not have A/C but it is Alaska.

Estuvimos 5 días en Fairbanks y este alojamiento es Súper costoso , pero vale la pena por la ubicación y lo cómodo . En general la zona de Alaska es muy costosa .
