2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Shipwatch 304A is a charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom oceanfront-view condo in the Shipwatch community at Wild Dunes — a guest favorite for its beautiful ocean views, top-notch amenities, and family-friendly layout. The outdoor patio is genuinely amazing, the sunrise from the patio is unforgettable, and the private walk to the beach makes the morning routine feel effortless. Both the pool and the beach are within walking distance, and there's even a playground tucked between the two — perfect for families with little ones.

Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

We had a wonderful time there! Check in was easy, condo was very clean and pretty and convenient to locations/restaurants that we wanted to visit. I would definitely love to go back!!

Kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need to make a meal EXCEPT an empty cabinet to put your groceries in … every single cabinet was full of stuff for serving, prepping, eating or cleaning.The furniture was very nice and very comfortable, as was the bed - thank you.It would have felt more welcoming if there had been info - brochures - maps to help with finding area amenities.We really appreciated the washer and dryer.Felt bad about tracking sand in, but there was no inside rug/mat to wipe your feet on. Being able to hear the ocean all the time was wonderful.
