We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pilgrim for two nights. Despite arriving quite late, the staff welcomed us warmly and were extremely polite, which set a great first impression. There was a minor hiccup while changing rooms, but it was handled professionally and with genuine hospitality. The team went out of their way to make us comfortable throughout our stay. The food was excellent and thoughtfully tailored to our preferences, which we really appreciated. They also kindly accommodated a late checkout for us, adding to the overall convenience. A special mention to Mr. Tiwari for his remarkable service—he truly made our stay memorable. It’s clear this is a family-owned business that takes pride in offering warm, personalized hospitality. Highly recommended—we would definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic experience here, and it was easily the best hotel of my entire trip through India. As a foreign traveler, I found it to be a welcoming and reliable choice. The Highlights Foreigner-Friendly: A huge plus for international travelers! Many budget-friendly hotels in India do not accept non-Indian guests, but this hotel welcomed me without any issues. Top-Tier Service: The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting me with arranging a taxi for the border. Cleanliness & Location: The rooms are modern, fresh, and very clean. The location is perfect for sightseeing. Things to Keep in Mind While I highly recommend this stay, there are two small things to be aware of: Vehicle Access: Because the hotel is located so close to the Golden Temple, the road is too narrow. Taxis cannot drop you off directly at the front door; you will need to walk for a few minutes after getting off. Taxi Fare Clarification: I had a slight issue where the driver arranged by the hotel tried to charge me extra. It wasn't a large amount—likely a miscommunication between the staff and the driver—but it’s something to double-check before you start your journey. Final Tip for First-Timers: If you are new to India, be aware that many cheaper hotels have restrictions against hosting foreigners. This hotel is a safe, new, and reliable "hidden gem" for international tourists!

I booked this hotel. At the time of check in, they told that sewer system is not working in the hotel. Then they shifted to us in another hotel, but no facilities were there. They have given us one bedroom for four persons instead of two bedrooms. The location of that hotel was terrible and no facilities was given to us. I suggest please do not book that hotel.
