Elegance Premium Hotel

Great location and close to everything. Walking distance to viral food stalls,stores,atm,massage etc. We booked an extra room the day before to put our luggages as we were gone for a whole day tour & they were kind enough to help move our things to our originally booked room. Rooms are spaciuos and clean. The airconditon in our room doesn’t really function optimal as the room doesn’t get cold and water was dripping a bit from the ceiling/aircondition. They have elevators,hallways was big enough compared to other hotels in hanoi. The breakfast selection was okay but not super good,we tried it only one time as we did not enjoy it so much,the ambiance was fine but the tables were really close to each other and there wasnt really much space. We think that this hotel was the best of all the hotel we tried in hanoi old quarter in terms of room size,beds,elevator etc The only thing we didnt like was the lady receptionist w/ short hair who works at night as she was rude & not very nice. When we ask her question she visually shows that she is annoyed and make facial grimaces & noises to show that she doesn’t want to be bothered. Before our initial checkin dates, we asked a different receptionist and agreed that we can book a room to put our luggages til the next day as we will be in nihn bihn whole day. When we pick up our luggages from a different hotel she got very mad when she saw that we have so much luggages. Tried explaning that we are 8 people & that’s why we want to book & pay for a room. She wanted us to pay and leave our luggages in the hallway. We tried explaining that we are not comfortable leaving our luggages in the hallway for a whole day & that we already talked to the manager about paying a room. She said no and that we have so much luggage, and that we talked to the manager but the manager is not there but only her. She took the 900k dong we paid but didnt want to put our luggages in the room. I waited there in the sofa for quite some time but had to ask her again, she got mad and said that they will put the luggages in the room. I felt like she was lying so i asked if i can see the room but she got really mad 😂. After agreeing that the luggages should be put in the room we already paid for and not in the hallway she said that we should put the luggages ourselves as there was no elevator going to that room. We explained that we are very willing to do it ourselves but someone just needs to show us the room which we have been asking since the start. The guy helping with the luggages wasn’t very pleased either that they had to help us. They were both making faces,talking vietnamese while pointing fingers at us & the luggages , we didnt understand what they were saying but you can really tell with their facial expressions & body language. On our second night we went out to have a massage and she was sleeping in the sofa in the lobby so she got awaken by the sound of the door opening and she got irritated by it,it’s like walking on eggshells around her as she gets annoyed by every little thing. The rest of the staff were very nice & friendly aside these two.

Location is good Staff is ok , but room and accessories is bad

Centrally located, affordable, and well kept. The breakfast isn't that great, but a good budget option still. The receptionist Nam went out of his way to accommodate me and help book a day trip to nin binh
