Step out the door and onto the mountain. Shoshone sits in the heart of Mountain Village with ski-in/ski-out access, putting Big Sky Resort's 47 trails directly at your feet. Whether you're chasing black diamonds or keeping it mellow, you're there in minutes. When the skis come off, everything you need is right next door. Grab a coffee, settle into the lounge, or pull up a chair on the deck and watch other skiers make their last runs of the day. There's no better way to end an afternoon.
Inside, Montana-made wood furniture anchors the living room with the kind of warmth you can't manufacture. Sink into the plush couch and take in the view through oversized windows that frame the sky like a painting. Big Sky sunsets earn the name. You'll understand the first time you see one from this room.
The kitchen is fully stocked and functional, with ample counter space and a dining table that seats six. One bedroom, but the space works harder than you'd expect. A Murphy bed tucks away cleanly during the day, leaving the living area open and comfortable. Come evening, it pulls down into a proper, cozy night's sleep.
Please note this is a privately managed residence. Guests do not have access to bell service, room service, or daily housekeeping.
Winter
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.
