Villa Luce in Sardegna

We know the north of Sardinia quite well, so we knew the location was good - what we wanted, anyway. The beaches nearby (within a 20 minute drive) are excellent. Santa Teresa is a great town for evening meals, drinks, hanging out in the square. The little supermarket near the villa was absolutely perfect for self-catering, so close and open every day. The Porto Pozzo restaurants are great, so no need to drive in the evenings. The local beach isn't great, we always drove to other beaches. Porto Pozzo has lots of boats to hire, so we were able to walk there to get a boat, which was great.

The villa was smaller than expected - given the price. The 4th bedroom upstairs is separate to the rest of the villa - great if you are holidaying with extended family or friends - but not great for us, none of us wanted to be separated from the rest of the family. The pool and poolside had full sun in the morning and full shade in the afternoon. There wasn't anywhere to sit in the evening/afternoon sun, which was a shame. No furniture on the roof terrace - but also that was very close to the neighbours, so not a great place to hang out.
