On y va pour l’expérience du coucher de soleil et lever de soleil depuis le lit. Incroyable. Lit très confortable avec de nombreuses couvertures. Le personnel est très gentil et le petit-déjeuner copieux. Un feu est allumé le soir.

Pour ce prix en Équateur on s’attendait à de l’exceptionnel. Eau tiède et à aller allumer à l’extérieur, porte laissant passe beaucoup d’air, salle de bain très défraîchie dégageant une forte odeur. Ce ne serait pas un problème mais pour un tarif inférieur.

It is a Hut on the cliff age, not a hotel

The gentleman that took care of us while we were there was so kind and helpful and accommodating. I don't think you will find a better view of the crater anywhere. I truly think it is the only accommodation (right now at least) that has a view from the room. So if that's what you're going for, stay here! But the room itself is pretty rustic. Part of that we would expect given the rural location, but it was much more than other accommodations we stayed while in the area. Breakfast was good though, and overall we had a warm night with the wood stove, and spectacular views. And a late enough checkout that we were able to enjoy the hike to the lake the morning of our departure. I did like that it set literally on the trail, and set slightly away from the main street which we liked.

It was pretty rustic, though for us that wasn't a problem, it's just something to be aware of when booking. For instance, we had to turn on the water heater from outside the room, but it had plenty of hot water. The walls could use paint, and the flooring was mismatch. But it all worked, and made the experience unique in a way. And it was a bit drafty, but plenty warm and cozy , especially with the fire.

La vue est magnifique. Les hôtes sont accueillants, mais sachez qu'ils parlent seulement espagnoles. Les repas du matin sont excellents avec des bonnes quantités

Le vent! Il vente constamment et la nuit c'est très bruyant. La chambre contient seulement un poêle qui est difficile de maintenir la nuit. Il faut donc être préparé au froid et au bruit. Je pense que c'est un hébergement convenable, mais le prix est légèrement élevé pour le niveau de confort.
