Great location free on street parking staff extremely helpful and friendly it’s rooms above a pub so don’t expect 5 star accommodation for the excellent price but staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Room was recently refurbished and bathroom looked brand new. Beds and linen spotless. Only issue was to remote control batteries need replacing otherwise excellent. It’s a community run pub with rooms and Amble is a very friendly and clean place to visit. We will come back.

Room was nice and clean .
Staff were pleasant. Nice well stocked
Unfortunately the football was on the first night, which was a bit noisy. But that's what happens when you book a room above a pub.

Nice atmospheric pub. Friendly staff. Accommodated my request for a safe place for my bicycle.
Pub food would have been a bonus.
