Marina Boardwalk Breeze 1BA & 2BA - Short Trip To Venice Beach

The 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment layout was perfect for me and my sister. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was clean, well-maintained, and well stocked. There were even extra toothbrushes in the bathrooms. We had everything we needed, and I enjoyed the hot tub. The location was great. We were walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket. The other people in the building were friendly, which is not always the case in LA. Check-out was simple and didn't require hauling out the trash or stripping the beds which is sometimes required with other rentals.

Not for light sleepers. There was often a humming / buzzing sound from my bedroom ceiling at night. And the washing machine did a good job but was very loud. That's why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10, but I slept fine with earplugs and would definitely stay there again.

Marina Del Rey was so quiet and luxurious, accessible from Venice beach and Santa Monica where we wanted to go. Trader's Joe and Ralph's was walking distance so no problem with grocery shopping.

- the apartment is pretty clean - Location is not bad

- communication from host could be more efficient, more clear instructions and more timely - kitchen could be more stocked up with basic seasoning, cling wrap, foil, ziplog bag etc - apartment could use more lighting. Even the parking garage across the street in another apartment community is way brighter than the apartment at night time. - smoke detector in living room was hanging loose when we checked in, not sure if it worked properly - the apartment building could be more cleaner. Elevator room stinks. But this is more of building/ apartment management problem
