Modern Holland Park Home with Easy City Access

Brisbane is pretty sprawling so you need a car to get around, this was reasonably central and handy enough to what we wanted to do while here. Also a cute cafe nearby. Second bathroom downstairs so we never had to queue to pee.

In Australia I think you're required to put smoke detection in transient residential accommodation, there were four rooms upstairs which were all let out separately but only one smoke detector in the corridor.

The size of the room was good.

The room was right next door to the kitchen, so people talking in the kitchen late at night and early morning was annoying. The driveway was really steep and couldn't get my car up there. The light switch was on the opposite side of the room from the door.

Advertising was misleading. Was not aware that bathroom and kitchen facilities were shared. No mention that you have to carry all your food and personal belongings up a very steep hill. I am 71 with knee problems. No mention of having to go up 2 flights of stairs to the bedroom. There was very little description of parking facilities, which happens to be on the road on hilly terrain. Never saw the owner or manager. Never saw the cleaner or any cleaning during the 3 days I stayed. But the house guest were very nice.
