We have stayed here several times over 30 years. Great location and cute but the mattresses seriously need to be replaced. How you’re supposed to have a great time there and sleep well and be relaxed if the mattresses are so uncomfortable. Replace all the mattresses. We brought friends there this time with us and they even said it’s great place. They’d stay there again except they won’t because of the mattress.
Location and price is budget friendly.

Room had a kitchenette with good size fridge. Shower was large and updated. Palms cafe was very good. Breakfast menu had a wide variety of items and reasonably priced. Access to the beach was very easy. Location was perfect!

The café doesn’t open until 8:00 a.m., making it better suited for brunch than breakfast. Prices are noticeably inflated for what is offered. Although it’s advertised as being on the beach, the shoreline is roughly 50 yards away, and the sand dunes completely block the view of the water.
The parking situation is inadequate for the number of hotel guests and café visitors. If you plan to explore the surrounding area, it’s best to leave your vehicle parked at the hotel and walk whenever possible. Parking spaces are limited, and if you leave, there is no guarantee that a spot will be available when you return.
