Iconic Q Tower Apartments- Your Vacay Stay

EVERYTHING. The location was great, the pools were amazing (having the indoor catered to the cold days). The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, the views were immaculate.

Potentially having another lift from reception to ground level otherwise no faults from us.

Lifts taking forever and having to go across 2 lifts to get to the ground level due to construction works. The air-conditioning was not effective, it was particularly hot & you could have the living space or the bedrooms on not both at the same time..

I loved that I could bring my german sheppard dog and set up her area on the tiled enclosed balcony. It was lovely to let fresh air in whilst having balcony doors closed for air con and I could see her from bed through the glass doors at night. The thoughtfulness of the owner leaving a pack of tim tams, a well stocked kitchen complete with basic cooking essentials (oil, salt and pepper etc), coffee machine and air fryer made our stay more convienient and comfortable. The draw dishwasher was great not to have to bend down and there was dishwashing powder and cleaning products under the sink which were handy for a short stay of 3 nights. We also loved dining in the enclosed balcony and north western view to the mountains. Both beds were very comfortable with lovely linen and the bathroom was a sanctuary. The master had a higher king size bed and smaller bedroom had a lower queen bed better for kids or people without bad knees:) There were plenty of power outlets to charge your phone but worth noting you will need a longer cord as they are along the side walls. I didn't get to enjoy the lovely big bathtub with spa jets whilst there but perhaps next time I will. Note that this apartment is not through the Q1 and is more like an air bnb, so you need to get the key fob (in a lockbox with pin) from the convienience store before you are able to head down to the B2 carpark when checking in. There are 2 key fobs which was very handy if needing to seperate for a time and 1 car park. Visitors or a second car can park in the visitors parking all day until 10pm latest where it will need to be parked on the street till morning. The 2 hour visitors parking is no longer enforced which is great. The facilities were fantastic and the apartment was lovely and clean.

The air conditioning was weak and kept timing out and turning itself off and was not easy to set/turn on for someone not tech savvy. It was hot in the main bedroom in the morning if you leave the blinds up to wake up to the beautiful view or if hanging out in the apartment during the day. Also the wifi reception on the living room tv wasn't working for streaming so we ended up watching netflix on the tv in the master bedroom. Both Tv remotes seemed interchangeable which was a bit confusing. The couches were quite low and uncomfortable in the middle where the frame is underneath and as someone with arthritis it was more comfortable to sit/lay elsewhere. I couldn't find a powerpoint in the bathroom whilst vaccuming but there may have been one somewhere for people to use a hairdryer etc? If these small issues were fixed it would be the most perfect place for a small family (2-4 people) to stay. It would also be a bonus to have a better cordless vaccum cleaner for carpets (to ensure no dog hair is present) before checking out and a spray mop for the tiles.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully styled apartment in the iconic Q1 Resort. The kitchen had everything we needed, the facilities were amazing, and we felt so welcomed. We’ll certainly be back!
