Loved the staff, extremely friendly. The receptionist is always so kind and there to help you, the cleaning ladies always so sweet and greet you. The hostel is really clean, they have tea, coffee and free bread every morning.

Needs many improvements

- Great location - Nice and bright co-working space - Good social space with a tv that can be used - This hostel has a lot of (unmet) potential - Despite all of the issues, I managed to have an OK time here

- I heard from other guests that they will reduce rates in exchange for a high review - The owner has a dog that roams freely (this is fine but should be stated for those who are scared of dogs) (sidenote that the dog isn’t completely toilet trained) - You have to text in a whatsapp group to enter after 7pm, on one occasion the guy who stays awake to attend these messages fell asleep and a girl was locked out, calling everyone in the group chat at 4am to get someone to let her in - The showers often stop completely and the water pressure is low - The doors are falling off of multiple of the lockers, and some do not even have hinges to add a lock - Some beds do not have plugs/a light - There are no amenities in the kitchen (not even a single fork, bowl, plate etc and no sink to wash anything in) - They say they serve breakfast but the most I saw was a few pinguino bars - Witnessed some guests who had arrived and booked be told there was no space for them and they had to go elsewhere - The hostel is still under active construction, it has a lot of potential but so much needs to be changed

A beautiful artsy gem in the heart of the city!

The location couldn’t be better, full of nightlife, art galleries, cute photo spots, green parks, delicious places to eat and also super close to public transportation (metrobus). The hostel is full of art and good vibes. The staff r super friendly and efficient (special shoutout to Víctor!). Everything is always clean - the common areas, bathrooms, showers and rooms. The beds are super comfortable, clean and each has its own curtain for extra privacy. The overall vibe is very chill and welcoming; even though Casa Amelio is just starting out, i can confidently say it’s already one of the best hostels in the city so i'd DEFINITELY come back. P.S. If u get the chance to say hi to Tomasa, DO NOT miss it! 🐾

The only thing i didn’t love is that since it’s still new, they’re making some final adjustments so one day i could hear some metal welding sounds next to my room but honestly, it didn’t ruin my stay at all!!

Fantastic Location, Premium Services

Located in what is arguably the heart and soul of Mexico City, the vibe is just right, with many of the popular destinations around the city easily accessible from the hostel. The hostel itself is unique in all the right ways, and to call it a gem of a property is an understatement. Few hostels provide a concierge that knows where to find any and everything you need to make your stay as stress-free as possible

Amazing and excellent location

It was amazing because you are close to nightlife, good restaurants, and cafeterias. If you want to experience Mexico, you should book this place! The managers are amazing and helpful. They will help you with anything you need.

Fall in love with the architecture of this place.

The location of this place is fantastic, everything is nearby, making it perfect for exploring the city. I fell in love with the architecture, and the bed was very cozy. Each bunk has its own light and charger, which was convenient. I definitely recommend this place

I wish I could have stayed longer at this place, but I already had other plans.

De sfeer was heel gezellig en de woonkamer was heel modern en schoon, en makkelijk om te connecten met andere reizigers.

Er kwam een lichte straal uit de douche zonder warm water. Ze zeiden dat er ontbijt zou zijn; in werkelijkheid 1 zak wit casinobrood. De 8-bedder kamers waren gemiddeld voor een hostel maar de 4-bedder kamers waren heel fijn en best luxe.

Buena ubicación, buena cama, personal nefasto.

La ubicación es inmejorable, las camas súper cómodas. Me gustó que hubiera tés y cafés para hacerte a cualquier hora, y pan tostado <3

El personal que me atendió a la llegada (según el dueño (eso dijo) y una mujer) súper pedantes, me dejaron hablando sola cuando les pregunté si me podría cambiar a otra habitación, obviamente pagando la diferencia, y sentía como que me estaban haciendo más que un favor. Nefastos. Mamones. La limpieza de los baños, especialmente de los de mujeres, DEBERÍA mejorar, el piso estaba más que asqueroso, me acabé bañando en las mixtas y estuvo mejor.

La ubicación.

Las taquillas de la habitación estaban rotas, así que el equipaje no podías guardarlo. También estaba roto el cristal de una ventana. El enchufe de mi cama no funcionaba. Los baños estaban sucios, no había lugar para dejar la ropa/toalla en la ducha, el lavabo tampoco tenía espacio. El personal no fue nada resolutivo.

Hostellissa oli helppo tavata uusia ihmisiä ja sijainti oli kivalla alueella, jossa on paljon ravintoloita, kahviloita, baareja ja muita putiikkeja. Hostellin henkilökunta oli todella ystävällisiä, avuliaita ja vieraanvaraisia. Sain heiltä hyviä vinkkejä Meksikossa matkustamiseen. Lisäksi pidin siitä, että hostellin sängyt olivat mukavia.

Top Lage, schöne Räume, relativ ruhig. Kein billiges Hostel feeling. Jeden Abend stehen ein paar free Drinks zur Verfügung. Alles sehr zivilisiert und angenehme Reisende.

Fui de paso, y cumplió todas mis expectativas. La cama estaba cómoda, sábanas limpias.

Los lockers no son muy cómodos y faltan lugares para colgar, pero estuvo muy bien. La ducha eso sí estaba tapada.

Emplacement idéal dans joli quartier de Mexico. Literie neuve et confortable.

Sanitaires sales, pas vu de ménage des salles de bain en 3 jours (que le sol). Pas de cadenas à tous les casiers. La porte des chambres ne ferme pas. Le « petit déjeuner inclus » c’est du pain de mie et du beurre. Animations proposées mais inexistantes quand on le demande.

Malo, hay mejores al mismo precio o por un poco más

Esperaba mucho más. Para empezar, no hay manera de ubicar el lugar, no hay ni un letrero ni una entrada que indique que ya llegaste. Las camas se sentían mal hechas, como si la litera de arriba te podía caer encima y las cortinas no cubrían ese mini espacio del colchón, además de estar viejas. Lo de “desayuno incluido” es falso, solo hay café para que puedas hacerte y deja pan con mantequilla o mermelada lo cual me decepcionó muchísimo. Las duchas son incómodas ya que no hay un vestidor para mujeres y no tienen secadora o plancha de cabello que muchos hostels si te brindan. Yo estuve en una habitación de mujeres donde varias se quejaron de lo mismo además del polvo que había por la construcción y el wifi no llegaba, tuve que usar mis datos. Mi estancia, a pesar de que trataron de ser amables, no fue la mejor porque el lugar no cumplió con las expectativas

Bien ubicado, instalaciones nuevas.

Están reacondicionándolo, por lo que aún no tiene algunas instalaciones que serían cómodas como una cocina para preparar algo para comer, tenderá para secar la ropa, ganchos o repisas en los baños. El desayuno es básico (infusión/café más una rodaja de pan), pero está ok.

Acostumbro usar hostales pero eso de que te prometan toallas y a la hora que pides una "no hay" es bastante problemático, además los lockers... lockers... Sin candado... Mmmm no me agrada... Lo siento pensé que sería mejor la experiencia.. la cocina el sábado por la mañana sucia... Entiendo que también los huéspedes tienen su parte pero el chico a cargo jugando con los huéspedes en lugar de atender el lugar... Podrían mejorar y ser un gran lugar pero hay que esforzarse

共有スペースが広くて、床のタイルや天井のレリーフなどもとても素敵で、優雅な気分でリラックスできました。今回メキシコシティとローマ地区で泊まった中で1番気に入りました。コ・ワーキングスペースも有り。ベットもボックス型で、カーテンが有り、サイズも広くてプライベートも確保されていて、マットレスも良い感じでした。又、機会があれば是非泊まりに来たいです！

入口の呼鈴が故障中だったので、直ると良いですね。キッチンも有れば、長く滞在できて、より良いと思います。でも、それ以上に満足しました。

Das Hostel ist komplett neu. Das Gebäude ist wunderschön. Die Lage perfekt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Insbesondere der Besitzer kümmert sich persönlich und und sehr gut um alle Gäste. Toiletten und duschen waren immer sauber. Die Matratzen extrem bequem. Wie gesagt es ist alles komplett neu. Hätte keinen besseren Start in Mexiko City haben können.

La ubicación y la comodidad

El check in estuvo muy fuera de horario, querian hacerlo cuando ellos querían y yo estaba fuera del hostal, no consideré amable ni agradable a la persona que hizo check in, no se tomó el suficiente tiempo para explicarme detalles. Cuando quise tomar agua para beber, salió con jabón. No fueron muy claras las indicaciones sobre las áreas compartidas.

Ambiente agradable y ubicación ideal

El ambiente es muy agradable, todos los que trabajan ahí son muy atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Aunque el check in es a las 5, pudes dejar cosas antes sin problema y el check out es hasta las 2, lo cual da mucha flexibilidad. La ubicación es excelente, está en la Roma con muchas opciones cerca para comer y pasear. Las áreas comunes son cómodas y se siente un ambiente relajado para conocer gente nueva.

Increíble volvería de nuevo

Realmente es muy central, tiene estación de metro y metrobús cerca, las condiciones del alojamiento son muy buenas, limpias, tiene un área de cocina para prepararte café en la mañana, coworking, área de televisión súper cómoda cerca tienes restaurantes, taquerías y bares a una cuadra de distancia, don Luis y su esposa súper amables y siempre pendientes de todo, súper recomendado!!!
