Located on the Pacific coast midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Central Coast enjoys a mild, Mediterranean climate year round. Rolling hillsides, breathtaking ocean views and spectacular beaches are all part of the scenic landscape making up the most diverse region in the state. A secluded beach with fascinating rock formations and tide pools is just 1/2 a block away. Two miles to the south, Pismo Beach offers famous clam chowder, surf shops and all manner of recreation. 10 minutes to the north, San Luis Obispo is a lively college town with distinctive shopping, fine dining, abundant arts, a historical mission and a renowned farmers market.
