About this house rental

Renovated home is less than 10 minute walk to beach and two blocks to the Monarch Butterfly Grove. From the front deck you have a modest view of the ocean and often clearly hear the waves crashing on the beach...so soothing.

The space
Close to beach, plenty of parking. Front porch lovely for morning coffee with a glimpse of the ocean. Porch has table seating for 4 and a bench. Propane BBQ.

Two bedrooms: one with a queen sized bed and the other with a full sized bed.
The open Floorplan allows conversation and fun to flow from the comfy couch and reclining love seat in the living room to the dining table and kitchen.
Laminate floors and ceiling fans throughout. Granite kitchen counters.
The bathroom includes a tub and shower.
There is a smart TV with in the living room, and DVD player. There are also smart TVs in each bedroom.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire house, front deck and washer/dryer.

Nice unit and nice place. Hosts were very communicative like the big fridge and the beds were comfortable.It is close to some great places to visit. It is a quiet neighborhood would like to stay again.Some things to be aware of unit does not have AC and has a very rudimentary heater in the center of the unit. There is no thermostat on the heater just set it and hope it’s warm enough or not too warm. We only needed once in June. Good whole house ventilation fan to pull in cool air when it got in the 80s.There are steps up to the unit and steps in the back. Not a problem for us, but could be for others. There are a lot of TV apps, but a bit clunky to use and find the only local TV station for news, Weather and traffic update. Wi-Fi was pretty fast streaming could be slow at times perhaps many users are on several devices on the home behind our unit? It would be nice to have some microwavable dishes.Also it should have ice cube trays because the icemaker couldn’t keep up with us and iwe are just two people who don’t really use a lot of ice. Lots of paper towels, TP, laundry detergent, cooking basic oils, seasonings, and etc.You can barely see the ocean from the front deck. The gas bbq grill worked, but it is on its last legs very rusty.

The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quite. Our family had the best time staying here. We would gladly stay here again.
