From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 4 vehicles preferably parked in the garage so plowing can occur easily.

Our group of 12 had an excellent time at Monte Vista. Well stocked kitchen(spices, knives, pans, dishes, etc.), great views, large spaces to come together in, and many secluded places for alone time. We were able to ski to the lifts with a little poling, and it was a short hike back.Had a couple of minor issues, but Cottonwood management was very quick and attentive to address them. They also worked with us to accommodate our schedule. I was very happy with the stay and would highly recommend!

Over the past few years we have stayed at numerous Home rentals - most individually operated or through large rental management companies. Cottonwood lodging has been by far the most attentive, responsive and genuine company I have encountered. Not only was the house top of the line but so was their service. As far as the house itself, it exceeded our expectations. It was stocked with anything you could imagine, including shampoo conditioner and laundry detergent. The toy area under the steps is awesome. The lower level room I had promised to my kids (the one with spiral staircase) and we should have kept it for ourselves! King bed, heated blanket and complete privacy. The home and area were beautiful. Highly recommend both Monte Vista and Cottonwood Lodging!

Excellent base camp for a week of spring skiing with our family. House is spacious and can easily accomodate multiple families. Hot tub on the deck was a nice way to end each day and is very well maintained.
