Waterfront cabin on the beautiful Lake of Egypt! This property is located in a very private area of the Shawnee National Forest in Tunnel Hill, IL. You can relax by the lake and watch the wildlife or just enjoy the views from the built-in sunroom. This lake cabin is also located near the wine trails and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the lake amenities, hunting, fishing, zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature at its finest. Sorry, no parties or events allowed.

Beautiful cabin on the lake, perfect for families. Host was super helpful and friendly and property was clean and nicely furnished. We will definitely stay there again in the future! Thanks again.

Overall, the property worked well for our trip. The path to the dock could be better but that’s the only suggestion for what is a great property. The property is tucked in the back of a cove that is very quiet which is nice but limits views of the lake from the nice back patio. Steve is an excellent host. Always responds quickly.

Very clean property and loved that it was back in a wooded nook. Just the right size. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed evenings on the porch.
