Welcome to Sagehouse!
This beautiful three bedroom home is located in the best part of Penticton, walking distance to the lake, right on the KVR trail, and so close to wineries you can take a long walk or ride your bike. Breweries are a quick walk down the hill, as is some of the best coffee in town and plenty of fantastic restaurants. In the winter, Apex ski hill is only 30 minutes away. Relax in the tranquil setting, looking out over the lake, and watch the neighbourhood deer stroll by. It really doesn't get any better than this!
The house was in 1967 and added to in 1988, and got a complete facelift (inside and out) over the last few years. It has lots of living space, three fireplaces, and a huge yard with a stunning lake view. It is on the west side of Okanagan Lake, so you get the late afternoon and evening sun, with sunsets that go on forever.
The furniture is a mix of antique and modern, so you can expect some classics with a bit of eclectic feel tossed in for good measure. Beds are comfy and the linens are crisp. The kitchen is modern and has all you could want, from the new stainless steel appliances to ample cooking tools and dishes. The BBQ is gas powered, so you can grill til your heart's content.
You will have access to the whole house (except a locked off storage/utility room), and the large fenced yard. Sagehouse is a large three bedroom home, with multiple living spaces and a large open concept kitchen and living room. The real highlight, though, is the large deck overlooking the yard and lake. Keep an eye out for the deer, and help yourself to any of the ripe fruit or herbs you find around the property.
We have done our best to supply earth-friendly or organic products for you to use during your stay. To reduce our footprint, we have reusable containers for bath and cleaning products instead of individual use. If we are running low on something during your stay, please be sure to let us know so we can get you a refill!
We have an outlet in the carport that can support level 2 EV charging. If you have an EV but don't have a travel charger, there are charging options a couple minutes away, near Main St.
