About this house rental
Welcome to Lago Vista-our slice of paradise on beautiful Skaha Lake! We offer an up-scale custom built executive home. It is 3000 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, & has amazing views from all 3 levels. It is a great set-up for 2 families with 2 living areas on separate floors.
The main floor has an modern open floor plan with full focus on the amazing LAKEFRONT & MOUNTAIN views. Sunken living room has comfy leather furniture, flat screen TV, gas fireplace & full length LAKEFRONT deck with seating for 6. Fully equipped kitchen with large island/eating bar with seating for 4, dining area with seating for 8, high end stainless appliances, 5 burner gas range with convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, professional ice maker, additional wine fridge. Powder room on main, plus convenient laundry room with washer/dryer and large mud room set up to accommodate skis, bikes etc.
Upper floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. All bedrooms have feather/down pillows, quality mattresses & comfy bedding. Master bedroom retreat has romantic private LAKEFRONT balcony with bistro set, king size bed, flat screen TV, walk-in closet & large ensuite with stand-up shower & soaker tub. 2 additional bedrooms have 2 queen beds and adjoining shared ensuite with tub and shower.
Lower level has a spacious second family room with 65 in flat screen TV, bar area with sink, bar fridge, microwave, professional ice maker, games area with table and chairs for 6.
The 4th bedroom down has queen size bed, full bathroom with shower & shower seat which is great for grandmas and grandpas. The lower level also has a wall of sliding view doors that open to 3rd patio with gas BBQ & semi-covered patio table.
We have a lakeside patio with pergola that seats 6 and is just above the beach and lake along with seating on our sandy beach.
Our home has great amenities including air conditioning, built-in vacuum, Cable TV, WI-FI. We have parking for 3 vehicles in our driveway. Additional vehicles will have to find off site parking, there is no street parking in front of our home as it is a bike route.
Have a boat or seadoos? We have a mooring buoy & dock with swim ladder. Note: Dock goes out late May/June till end of September/October, weather permitting, for the summer & fall season.
Lago Vista has great outdoor options. From having your morning coffee off the main floor balcony, to ending your evening star-gazing off the topmost balcony, we have the best of all worlds. Relax and watch the kids in the fenced & gated grassy yard or enjoy the day at our lakeside patio. Feel the sand in your toes on our lovely beach or sunbathe at the end of our dock, it is all up to you! The beach gradually slopes to the water so is perfect for young children to wade into, plus we have a dock with a swim ladder which is perfect for older kids to jump in and cool off!
Lake and yard access are from the lower level of the house. There is a short flight of stairs down to the beach.
We experience beautiful sun all day long and have wonderful sunsets at night. We are situated in a sheltered little cove only minutes from central Penticton with only 4 other neighbours. We are on Instagram at lagovistadreams_penticton.
This three level vacation home can sleep eight people very comfortably. We allow a maximum of eight adults (older than 18) or four adults and up to four children (younger than 18). We can make some exceptions for the appropriate type of family groups. It is great spot for up to four mature couples or two families. The home could accommodate more, but we do not allow groups larger than 8. We are not interested in renting to large groups of SINGLES, groups under the age of 40 or 3 or more different families that aren't part of a family group. We do not allow any type of events nor large numbers of additional visitors.

Our home is equipped with an alarm system and exterior video security cameras. Cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent and to avoid police dispatch for false alarms. No cameras are placed inside our home. The alarm system and exterior cameras may be used to verify compliance with rental policies.
We will no longer consider pets of any kind. If you need to Board Fido we have several options close by and recommend the PENTICTON PET RESORT. If a pet is discovered at our home you will be asked to leave immediately and a forfeiture of your $1000 deposit will apply, no exceptions. That includes friends that may visit with pets.
We are on the Corkscrew Wine Road within minutes of area wineries & a short drive to the wineries in Naramata,Oliver, Okanagan Falls & Summerland. Our home is just a few minutes from Skaha Lake Marina and central Penticton. We are centrally located to all the top South Okanagan wineries such as Painted Rock, Pentage, Blasted Church, Crescent Hill, Blue Mountain, Liquidity, LaFrenz, Hillside Estates, Poplar Grove, See Ya Later, Lakebreeze, Kettle
Valley, etc.

Golf courses abound throughout the Okanagan valley. Cycling the Kettle Valley Railway is a memorable experience. The Skaha Lake Bluffs is a challenging climbing experience for many. Tubing, kayaking, water skiing, seadooing are all part of the fabric of life on Skaha Lake. Floating down the River Channel between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake is always a lot of fun. Don't forget to enjoy many fine restaurants in Penticton along with the many outdoor
festivities like the Peach Festival, and Challenge Penticton. If you are feeling lucky the Cascades Casino is a short 10 minute drive.
GOLF
The South Okanagan climate makes Penticton an ideal golf venue. Long dry summers and short winters with very little snow keep players on the links.
Penticton is home to the only Okanagan golf course that stays open year round with championship play, The
Penticton Golf Club.

The home was amazing and even better than advertised! It easily accommodated all of us with room to spare! Each bedroom, and bathroom, was thoughtfully equipped and had everything we could have needed during our stay! The outside was as beautiful and well-maintained as the interior! The dock was perfect for swimming, which we did a great deal of and the tables, chairs and grill were well used! The location was very convenient to shopping, and the vibrant downtown area of Penticton! And the property manager made the whole process very easy and gave us everything we needed well in advance of our arrival! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for this home!

We recently spent a wonderful stay at this beautifully situated, newer property right on Skaha Lake, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Our group of eight family members, ranging in age from 55 to 70, found the home incredibly comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly suited to a relaxing lakefront retreat.The house is modern, spacious, and exceptionally well cared for. The layout provided both shared spaces for us to gather and quiet spots to unwind. Large windows and an open design made the lake views a constant backdrop—absolutely stunning throughout the day.One of the highlights was the easy access to the water. Whether enjoying a morning coffee on the deck, a kayak ride or an afternoon dip in the lake, the setting was simply ideal. The calm, clear water and gentle breeze created a sense of peace you don’t find just anywhere.It’s clear the owners put a lot of thought into the design and amenities. We had everything we needed, and more. It was the perfect place for reconnecting, relaxing, and making memories together.We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, luxurious spot on Skaha Lake.
