About this cottage rental
The whole house, a 2-minute walk to Leonard's Beach, our shared beach access on Lake Simcoe (the house is not waterfront). A private 9-person hot tub with LED lights and Bluetooth stereo, a massive top-of-the-line outdoor sauna (banya), a stone fire pit, a giant trampoline, a basketball arcade and ping pong. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two living rooms and two kitchens. Sleeps 10. Keyless self check-in, parking for 4, pets welcome. About an hour north of Toronto, 20 minutes from Barrie.
SLEEPING (up to 10)
Main floor: Bedroom 1 king, Bedroom 2 queen, Bedroom 3 bunk bed.
Lower level: Bedroom 4 king sleigh bed, plus a pull-out sofa bed in the lower-level living room.
MAIN FLOOR: kitchen with a granite island, dining area, living room with two leather sofas and a large TV, and a bathroom with a tub and shower.
LOWER LEVEL: Bedroom 4, a second living room with a fireplace and the pull-out sofa bed, a second kitchen, the washer and dryer, and a bathroom with a toilet, sink and stand-up shower (no tub).
HOW TO GET INTO THE LOWER LEVEL (important): the lower level is entered through the GARAGE. Facing the house from the street, go to the RIGHT-hand garage door (east side). It opens by hand, it is not automatic. Lift it, walk through the garage, and you are on the lower level. The back door down there stays locked until you unlock it from the inside.
CHECK-IN: keyless self check-in with a smart lock and door code, no keys to pick up or return. Check-in 3:00 to 8:00 PM, checkout before 11:00 AM, 2-night minimum.
OUTSIDE: the 9-person hot tub (kept at 102F, open all year), the sauna (about 2 hours to heat to 150F), a big backyard with trampoline, a charcoal BBQ on the deck and a stone fire pit. Ping pong table in the garage.
GARBAGE: please put all garbage in the GREEN bin, collected every week. Put it out on Sunday evening for Monday morning collection. The black bin can be used if you need more space, but it is only collected every two weeks.
What's provided: Keurig coffee maker with starter pods, Brita filter jug, salt, pepper and cooking oil, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, hand soap, a hair dryer, sheets, pillows, linens and bath towels (extra towels by the washer).
What to bring: body soap, shampoo and other toiletries, a lighter, charcoal and firewood for the BBQ and fire pit (firewood is also sold at the nearby gas station), and your own food including any meat for grilling.
Nearby: Innisfil Beach Park 7 minutes by car, Alcona shops and LCBO 5 minutes, Friday Harbour and Georgian Downs 10 minutes, boat launch 10 minutes.
