About this house rental
Beautifully situated former country estate for rent as a holiday home. The property lies on approximately 90,000 m² of scenic land with fields and forest. The beach is also within walking distance (about 12 minutes). Imagine waking up to birdsong and looking out over the large private natural grounds – a green wonderland where children can run freely between trees, play hide-and-seek in the woodland patches, and build dens under the tree canopy. Adults can enjoy the peace and the view over the rolling landscape.
The whole family can go exploring – follow small paths through the wild grass, find traces of animals, listen to owls at dusk, or light a fire under the stars. There's room here for play, immersion and togetherness. And the best part? It all happens right outside the door – in your very own nature oasis.
The property has 5 bedrooms, including one with a bunk bed. There is also a spacious entrance hallway, a large kitchen-dining area, 2 bathrooms (one with outdoor shower only), an older-fashioned kitchen and a cozy lounge.
There is a north-facing terrace, which is especially lovely in the mornings and evenings throughout the summer. Additionally, there’s a covered west-facing terrace where you can barbecu e and enjoy even the cool summer nights. There's also a charming enclosed courtyard terrace facing south-southwest.
The property is ideal for a large family or two families. Note that, for instance, there are two dishwashers in the kitchen-dining area.
There are many activities for children, including a football pitch, trampoline, garden games and an outdoor slide. If the weather is unkind there are board games, darts, a table tennis table, or you can go out to the barn, where there's a workbench, tools and materials to make a kite, bird box or insect hotel.
Be aware: the estate is maintained under the "wild on purpose" principle. There are plenty of birds and insects and nature (read: weeds) grows freely, except on the football pitch and terrace areas. For this reason, cats are unfortunately not welcome.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they do no damage to the house and its contents.
In the area there are many lovely experiences, especially for children and nature lovers. For example Lille Vildmose, the cozy holiday atmosphere in Øster Hurup where you can borrow fishing nets at the harbour.
